Kentucky PI License Information

The Kentucky Private Investigator License application packets are only available through the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators. 

We suggest that you read the Private Investigators Licensing Law.  In Kentucky, if you provide any services or do any work as described in Section 1 of the law, you are required to be licensed.  Exceptions are listed in Section 13.  Any questions concerning licensing or particular individual situations should be addressed directly to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators.
